The company is proud to present the second edition of its Summer Academy, taking place in Italy in two separate sets: on 27th June in Naples and 1-2 July 2021 in Tuscany.
The course is addressed to management students, singers, pianists and instrumentalists who want to acquire specialistic knowledge, tools and skills in using digital technologies for performing arts management as well as enriching their operatic repertoire and experience.
L’azienda è orgogliosa di presentare la seconda edizione della sua accademia estiva, che si svolgerà in Italia in due parti separate: il 27 giugno a Napoli e il 1-2 luglio 2021 in Toscana.
Il corso è rivolto a studenti di management, cantanti, pianisti e strumentisti che desiderino acquisire conoscenze, strumenti e competenze specialistiche nell’utilizzo delle tecnologie digitali per la gestione delle arti performative, oltre che arricchire il proprio repertorio operistico e la propria esperienza.

Ambra Sorrentino is an Italian entrepreneur with more than ten years’ experience working for top EU opera companies and music organizations. She has been awarded best CEO for UK 2020 and selected by J.P. Morgan among the 15 best female entrepreneurs in London.
She is Opera Management Professor and Chair of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee of the London Performing Academy of Music, Artistic Consultant for Teatro Grattacielo in New York, an Expert of the European Commission for Culture and visiting Professor for the Camerata Bardi New York, Lavra Opera Kiev, Amazonas Opera Festival Brazil and ACEI in Lille (France). She is also a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Salerno, as well as a guest lecturer at La Sorbonne University Paris, the University of Salerno and the Catholic University of Milan.

Instrumental repertoire and interpretation / Repertorio e interpretazione allo strumento: Zisimos Florenc Sulkuqi, Soloist of Athens Philharmonic, producer.
Greek violinist and producer Florenc Zisimos Sulkuqi is leading violinist of Athens Philharmonic and a former member of Athens State Orchestra (KOA) and the Greek National Opera (GNO).
He has given concerts and recitals in Italy, Greece, Austria, Albania, Turkey, USA and Cyprus in well-known concert halls such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Teatro dei Rozzi in Siena, the Teatro Verdi in Florence and the Athens Concert Hall.
He is currently violin professor at Sappho Conservatory, New Alimos Conservatory, Municipal Daphne-Imittos Conservatory and Peiraeus Municipal Conservatory in Athens.
He graduated from the Athens Conservatory with top honors and was awarded the first prize by the Greek Ministry of Culture and the Honors Award. In 2003 he attended the “Accademia Musicale Chigiana” with Salvatore Accardo, and masterclasses by Grigory Zhislin, Giuliano Carmignola and Boris Belkin.

Having approached the piano thanks to his mother, he performed for the first time at the age of three. From the age of sixteen, he regularly trained under the tip of the great pianist Aldo Ciccolini who has repeatedly publicly reported him and “for his rare musical qualities, for his profound artistic personality” and, later, “for his outstanding organizational skills”.
He was first classified in about thirty piano competitions. He has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and held the Artistic Direction the Ass. “MozartItalia”.
He is the editor of various sector publications and is a full member of the National Association of Music Critics – Abbiati Award. He is a member of the OperaEducation-OperaDomani-As.Li.Co. – Teatro Sociale di Como and, also, member of the Board of Directors of the “Curci” Foundation. He is the founder and CEO of BLOOM Music Solutions – Artistic Management Company for Live Entertainment.

THE ACADEMY STRUCTURE\ LA STRUTTURA DELL’ACCADEMIA
Each course includes:
- Lessons for voice or instrument for technique empowerment, repertoire advice and competition preparation.
- Marketing workshop A: prepare your artistic CV for auditions and how to approach an agency.
- Marketing workshop B: online resources for young artists, opera studio opportunities and how to promote yourself with Social Media.
- Live audition with Opera Co-Pro affiliated agencies and opera organizations.
The Second course also includes the participation to the concert in Teatro Virgilio Marchionneschi in Guardistallo, Tuscany, on 1st July 2021 h.20.00.
The closing ceremony will take place at Teatro De Filippo, Cecina, on 2nd July at 17.00.
Ogni corso include:
- Lezioni di canto o strumento per il rafforzamento della tecnica, consigli sul repertorio e preparazione ai concorsi.
- Laboratorio di marketing A: prepara il tuo CV artistico per le audizioni e come approcciare un’agenzia.
- Laboratorio di marketing B: risorse online per giovani artisti, opportunità di opera studio e come promuoversi con i social media.
- Audizioni dal vivo con agenzie e organizzazioni operistiche affiliate a Opera Co-Pro.
Il Secondo corso prevede anche la partecipazione al concerto presso il Teatro Virgilio Marchionneschi di Guardistallo, in Toscana, il primo luglio ore 20.00.
La cerimonia di chiusura del corso avverrà il due luglio alle ore 17.00 presso il Teatro De Filippo di Cecina.

All participants are requested to bring a paper copy of their CV, their music sheets and possibly a laptop\tablet to analyze websites and social media profiles.
The course is open to artists and managers of any age and level.

It is possible to register for one or both Academy dates, as the courses complete each other.

You can ask for keyboards and warm up space. Limited space is available to practice. Please send in advance a list of arias and pieces you would like to work on during the course.

COST \ COSTO
65 euros for each Part for early registrations before 25th June 2021.
After this date, if there are any left positions, it will be possible to register at the standard rate of 130 euros per Part. The maximum number of allowed participants is 35.
Auditors’ participation can be considered at management discretion and is set at 40 euros per day.
It is possible to register for a single date or for both parts of the Academy.
65 euro per ciascuna Parte per iscrizioni anticipate entro il 25 giugno 2021. Dopo tale data, se ci sono posti rimasti, sarà possibile iscriversi alla tariffa standard di 130 euro per Parte. Il numero massimo di partecipanti consentiti è 35.
La partecipazione di Uditori può essere considerata a discrezione della direzione ed è fissata a 40 euro al giorno.

PART 1: NAPOLI
The closest airport to Napoli is Napoli international airport Capodichino, about 15 min from the city center.
The studio is located in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from the stunning Teatro San Carlo, the Royal Palace, Piazza Plebiscito, the Maschio Angioino castle and many other amazing tourist spots.
PART 2: CECINA
The closest airport to Cecina is Pisa-San Giusto. An alternative airport is Florence, then you can get a train to Livorno. Train stations: from Cecina Station: Livorno 40 min, Pisa 50 min. If you travel from Napoli to Cecina we recommend the direct Intercity train from Napoli Centrale to Cecina.
The atelier is located in the city centre, in an historical Villa.
The area: Cecina is a delightful village on the Tyrrhenian Sea. There is a natural reserve along the coast with a pine grove where you can enjoy the beach, practice sports or just have a walk. Cecina is reachable by car, train or buses from Rome, Livorno, Florence or Pisa. Summer days are hot and evenings are fresh. In one hour by car, don’t miss the chance to visit the nearby Torre dal Lago with Villa Puccini, the beautiful museum house of Giacomo Puccini. We recommend also to discover traditional local food, such as “Cacciucco”, “Bistecca Fiorentina” and the “Cecina”.
PARTE 1: NAPOLI
L’aeroporto più vicino a Napoli è l’aeroporto internazionale di Napoli Capodichino, a circa 15 minuti dal centro.
Lo studio si trova nel cuore della città, a pochi passi dallo splendido Teatro San Carlo, dal Palazzo Reale, da Piazza Plebiscito, dal Maschio Angioino e da molte altre meravigliose attrazioni turistiche.
PARTE 2: CECINA
L’aeroporto più vicino a Cecina è quello di Pisa-San Giusto. Un aeroporto alternativo è Firenze, poi si può prendere un treno per Livorno. Stazioni ferroviarie: dalla stazione di Cecina: Livorno 40 min, Pisa 50 min. Se viaggi da Napoli a Cecina ti consigliamo il treno Intercity diretto da Napoli Centrale a Cecina.
L’atelier si trova nel centro della città, in una Villa storica.
La zona: Cecina è un delizioso paesino sul mar Tirreno. C’è una riserva naturale lungo la costa con una pineta dove è possibile godersi la spiaggia, praticare sport o semplicemente fare una passeggiata. Cecina è raggiungibile in auto, treno o autobus da Roma, Livorno, Firenze o Pisa. Le giornate estive sono calde e le serate fresche. In un’ora di macchina non perdete l’occasione di visitare la vicina Torre dal Lago con Villa Puccini, la bellissima casa museo di Giacomo Puccini. Consigliamo anche di scoprire i piatti della tradizione locale, come il “Cacciucco”, la “Bistecca Fiorentina” e la “Cecina”.
